Are you puzzled by all different SEO terms? If you have to deal with daily routine of managing your business online, you may not have enough time to get acquainted with all the variety of  website optimization concepts. So how can you find out the secret of SEO and understand how to get your website noticed by the search engines? If you need some simple rules of how to make it happen, here are the three basic ones.
Content is the king. Use specific keywords and include them in your web page content. The most appropriate amount for seo is two or three percent. More than this might affect your websites seo status, it is called “keyword cramming”. In addition, make sure that your keywords are in obvious places for the search engines.  This means inyour headings, links and alt tags for your images.
The second Search Engine Optimization principle is the structure of your site. Your page titles should always include your keywords, the same for description. For example, if you are in the bird training niche, your About Us page may be titled: Bird training edge-About us. This would mean that your web pages are relevant and still gives your visitors an idea of where they are going when they click on your link. Your keywords must also be included in your Meta tag descriptions in a way that solicits some kind of action to your visitors. You should also add a link to your site map on your home page so that the search engine crawlers can be able to index your website.
The next important principle is relevance. This means that you have “popularity votes” from the other websites in your niche. These would be in the form of back links to your site. The more back links your website has, the better it is ranked with search engines.  Having quality back links is much more important than the amount of links, so you should try to obtain back links from sites, which are popular with the search engines. When it comes to this, you can start with forums, blogs, articles, press releases. Check that the sites you link to don’t have “no follow” tag as, linking to them is useless from the seo perspective.
If you feel there is something you can improve on your website, you might need to find some time for it every day or consult some seo agency. SEO is not an overnight process, but if you are patient and persistent you will be able to come out on top. The most important is to understand that the more popular your site is considered to be by search engines, the better off your SEO status will become. If you concentrate only on numbers, you are lacking the relevance part and will be considered as a spam site. Put these principles into consistent practice of Search Engine Marketing and in time your website ranking will improve dramatically.
